…..This is the first time I opened up my mini sessions to the public and I must admit I was a little nervous. I normally offer them to clients only and it works out perfectly. My clients know how the session goes, they already know what to wear and what not to wear, parents are not surprised with my silliness and kids feel comfortable, so basically i know what to expect from them and they know what to expect from me. So, to make up for all the uncertainty this time, i decided to create an inspiration board (like i used to do for my interior design projects) to communicate my concept for the shoot and… it worked! All the kids showed up wearing their rocking outfits just as i suggested. Of course, it was very important that the parents saw my vision and trusted what i was doing. And they did. This shoot rocked! I had so much fun with these little people. I am tempted to offering this type of session again. As a matter of fact, I already have a concept in mind. So be sure to check my facebook page for updates.

Oh and for the person who asked how i came up with the concept for the shoot… I am sorry I didn’t have a better answer other than “I didn’t want to do a typical Valentine’s hearts and kisses shoot, so this just popped in my head.” My brain works in funny ways.

I really love how your mind works. You really do have such a talent and eye for different and it is what makes true art.
These shots are great! I love your set up, alot! The cost was out of my range for Valentines day pics…though these could be used for other things too…totally worth it though for the families that took advantage :)
